Job Location, Hours and Pay?

  • Irving, TX

  • Monday Friday, 8am 5pm

  • Pay - $12.75hr

Job duties for a Customer Service:

The Vehicle & Specialty Claims (VSC) Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in delivering on the company promise to clients by answering questions, providing information and education pertaining to coverage and eligibility. The Customer Service Representative is empowered to use reasonable discretion in determining appropriate actions needed to resolve issues and satisfy customers

What experience & qualifications are required?

  • Following established procedures and guidelines, answers a wide variety of all inbound calls (on average, 70 per day), from new and existing customers with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues with one call resolution.

  • Listens attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while maximizing opportunity to build rapport with the customer.

  • Records all customer interactions, gathers information and explains contract coverage.

  • Recognizes trends in customer interactions and appropriately escalates customer questions and issues to management, when necessary.

  • Recognize potential sales opportunities that support other departmental goals.

  • Consistently meets established call handling metrics.

  • Previous dealership work experience (i.e., dealer or repair facility customer service, cashier, and administration experience)

  • 3-5 years previous customer service experience

  • Must be able to understand all aspects of the claims and payables processes, and proper skill handling

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to multi-task and successfully work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.

  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing extremely fast paced environment

  • Good computer skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel. Previous AS400 experience, preferred

  • Bilingual skills, both written and verbal, preferred
