Job Title : Construction Quality Assurance Coordinator (Quality Control Engineer)

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Pay : $60,000 - $70,000/annually

Job Description:

• Liaise with the owner s quality assurance team on all quality-related matters.

• Demonstrate technical expertise in understanding project specifications, standards, and code requirements.

• Participate in submittal reviews, weekly QC meetings, and preparatory meetings.

• Conduct initial and follow-up inspections, manage the punch list process, and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.

• Maintain inspection records, initiate deficiency reports, and track resolution to stakeholders' satisfaction.

• Collaborate with trade partner quality control personnel, review QC logs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

• Coordinate and schedule third-party testing and source inspections, interfacing with testing agencies as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience on large commercial construction projects *REQUIRED*

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management.

• Valid Driver s License.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel-based templates, Prolog, Primavera, and AutoCAD.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate excellent follow-up skills.

• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local reporting requirements and regulations.
