CornerStone Staffing is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Office Services Specialist I

Location: Euless, Texas

Pay: 13.00/hr.

Schedule: 8a-5p (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:

The Office Services Specialist I is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail from Fed Ex/UPS/DHL/USPS. Duties may also include capturing, storing, retrieving and sharing electronic records/documents and receiving, reviewing, and entering data into computer system and/or tracking database accurately and efficiently. This position contributes to the overall success of FSMB by enhancing the organization s vitality through services provided to state medical and osteopathic medical boards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Pick up mail daily, from two business units within the organization

  • Process all out-going mail

  • Pick up and sort incoming mail from Fed Ex/UPS/DHL/USPS when it arrives for the Board Action, FCVS, and Assessments teams as well as individual department/recipient mailboxes

  • Open and sort all FCVS mail

  • Perform shipping functions

    • Mail all identity documents back to physician (USPS and FedEx)

    • Pick up profiles from Profile Services and mail out each day (USPS and Fed Ex)

    • Enter shipping comments into system for identity documents and profiles

  • Filing

  • Some Shredding

  • Image and Index documents

  • Review imaged documents for legibility

  • Provide internal/external customer service according to established guidelines

  • Additional duties as assigned


1-2 years office experience, including 1+ years experience doing data entry/imaging, preferably in a health care or professional association setting. Working knowledge of Windows environment, experience with Microsoft Office. Typing/data entry skills of 40-50 wpm, with a high level of accuracy.


The ideal candidate must possess general office skills, including typing/word processing (familiarity with Microsoft Office desired), experience with scanning

equipment. In addition, he/she must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to work professionally and productively. An aptitude for careful review of documents and specific data between a variety of sources; ability to adapt to procedural modifications during growth period of department; willingness and ability to demonstrate a "team" approach to productivity and performance.
