CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a customer that is a Major Hospital in the Irving area hiring Patient Service Specialist. If you have 2+ years of Hospital admin experience along with stable work history then we want to talk to you!!

Job Title: Patient Services Spec 1

Location: Irving, TX

Pay: $17 -20/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Description:

Provides a range of entry-level intake and associated administrative services pertaining to patients being admitted to the hospital and/or treatment facility or receiving outpatient services to include obtaining demographic, insurance, and medical information; collecting co-pays and deposits; scheduling follow-up appointments; and ordering diagnostic tests as directed.

Requirements:

• Pediatric experience highly required, Epic experience, good customer service skills, ability to adapt to fast pace environment

• Proof of flu vaccination is required for this specific job opportunity

• Facility is tobacco-free, must be a non-smoker for this specific job

• Must have a stable work history - no job hoppers

• Healthcare experience is preferred

• Excellent and written communication skills resulting in positive communication

• Extreme attention to detail and the ability to prioritize activities

• Experience with using healthcare web-based applications - ability to work in a paperless environment

• Ability to work collaboratively with others

• High school diploma or GED required
