Job Title: Corporate Assistant

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $20-$24/hr - depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday , 8am-5pm - temp to hire

Job Description: As the corporate assistant, this person must be a highly professional, service oriented individual who is able to multi task and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. He or she must also enjoy interacting with internal and external customers on a daily basis and maintain a professional level of confidentiality in terms of access to information.

Responsible for receptionist activities including but not limited to answering incoming phone calls, taking messages, greeting and assisting visitors.

Prepare and distribute letters, memos and agendas.

Prepare and distribute intra-office communication as needed or scheduled.

Prepare and mail outgoing correspondence, collect, date stamp and distribute incoming mail.

Responsible for maintaining adequate amounts of office supplies including COSTCO supplies and quantities.

Coordinate meals, refreshments and room set-up for meetings, including BOD meetings, as needed.

Responsible for preparing special event mailings as needed.

Responsible for preparing and setting coffee maker each morning and restocking supplies as necessary.

Other general duties to include using the fax and copy machine, filing, order flowers, gift baskets or donations as needed.

Assist in coordinating food service for meeting and events.

Assist with local errands

Schedule meetings and any necessary re-arranging of conference room schedules.

Coordinate with building personnel for any notices or activities or needs for employees.

Call for courier pickup, local transportation for guests and any hotel arrangements as well.

Manage Bankers Edge and Employee Directory including new hires and terminations.

Keep office and break room looking welcoming, tidy and functional.

Sign for deliveries and alert person of arrivals.

Communicate and negotiate with vendors.

Plan and communicate employee meetings and monthly Birthday celebrations.

Flexibility to perform other ad hoc responsibilities as required.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 1 year of receptionist experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must.

  • Posses initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

  • Must be able to recognize and protect confidential documents and/or information

  • Must have advanced experience with MS Office products including MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook and Internet
