Job Description:

Requirements:

Responsibilities

Undertakes and performs the following and other work-related duties as assigned.

  • Calculates and records field testing targets are recorded in company s proprietary software system.

  • Uploads plan review results in company s proprietary software system.

  • Ensures all billable plan reviews are properly reported for invoicing.

  • Prepares special reports for management or clients.

  • Provides technical support to inspectors daily to ensure smooth flow of inspection data is maintained.

  • Contributes team effort by undertaking and performing other work-related duties as assigned including work in other functional areas to cover absences or provide relief, to equalize peak work periods

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required

  • Must have past construction experience

What will you be doing as an Eligibility Verification Specialist? Eligibility Verification Specialists will be researching and resolving eligibility verification requests in an appropriate and timely manner. Making follow up calls same-day to providers and members to give results of research.Transferring calls from providers to provider queue if question is not related to eligibility. Qualifications:

With moderate supervision and following specific procedural guidelines and policies, this position investigates delinquent accounts, contacts customers via oral and written communications and prepares standardized reports on the status of collection efforts and delinquent accounts. OTHER REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

1. On an ongoing basis and with an ethical approach to collection activities, initiates the collection process of overdue accounts, contacting customers via letters and phone calls to collect payments in a timely manner.

2. Follows up on outstanding issues, updating system notes with the status of all collection activity.

3. Researches customer deductions and coordinates resolution, where appropriate, updating system notes with the status of all collection activity.

4. Responds to customers requests for documentation, which may include but is not limited to providing invoice copies and statements. Updates system notes as appropriate.

5. Maintains customer collection files to ensure information is complete, accurate and compliant with standard operating procedures.

6. After researching collection activity and status, follows general operating procedures to recommend amounts for write-off to the Collections Manager.

7. Reconciles customer accounts and prepares adjustments following standard operating procedures.

8. Communicates on an ongoing basis with billing staff to resolve accounts receivable issues as appropriate.

9. Periodically, prepares reports on the status of collection activities for submittal to the Collection Manager. This may include but is not limited to preparing reports for finance and sales management on past due customers and preparing monthly credit summary reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

A general knowledge, understanding of and proficiency with commercial collections as normally obtained through 1-3 years in a commercial collections environment.

Basic knowledge of collection policies and procedures is required to perform the essential functions. Incumbents should be familiar with fundamental collection ethics and procedures.

Incumbents should be able to deal with customers in a friendly, courteous, timely and professional manner. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to collaborate with others internally and consistently display a team player attitude is required.

Good attention to detail and the ability to remain organized and focused is essential. Incumbents should have the ability to work on multiple tasks with moderate supervision.

EDUCATION

A general knowledge and understanding of accounting as normally obtained through the completion of an Associate s Degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting.

OVERVIEW AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

With general supervision and direction, follows standard operating procedures to review reports and other means to accurately identify cash transactions and post cash transactions in the appropriate Company systems. May serve as a resource to less co-workers performing cash application tasks.This position performs work in a centralized, corporate environment and reports to the Collections Manager or a manager or director with collections and/or cash application responsibility.

OTHER REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

  • On an ongoing basis and in a timely manner, accurately applies cash collections to the customer s account using appropriate accounting and business management software. This entails cash received via lockbox, wire, or Automated Clearing House (ACH).

  • Prepares activity and status reports and reconciles unapplied cash as appropriate. Reconciles bank statements to the General Ledger (GL) Cash Accounts daily and monthly. Researches any disputes and follows standard operating procedures to correct the issue and/or updates the system notes with the status of the activity. This may include utilizing the Company s accounting and business management software systems to research account activity and post payments as appropriate.

  • Works with Collections, Financial Operations, and Accounts Receivables teams in researching unapplied cash amounts so that unapplied cash can be kept to a minimum.

  • Contacts customers via letters, emails, and phone calls to inquire about incomplete information related to payments. Follows up on outstanding issues as appropriate, updating the system notes with the status of the inquiry or activity.

  • Utilizes current lockbox technology to print reports and view images related to cash applications.

  • Provides support and written documentation as required to support cash application for SOX controls and audits.

  • Acts as a resource to answer questions and provide guidance to less experienced co-workers performing cash application tasks.

  • May perform cash reconciliations against bank accounts and other Company accounts as requested or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of six years experience, knowledge and understanding in cash application, billing, accounts receivables, or clerical accounting function.

  • General knowledge of the cash application policies and procedures is required to perform the essential functions.

  • Incumbents should be able to deal with customers in friendly, courteous, timely and professional manner. Good verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Good attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and still meet deadlines is required.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Incumbents must be proficient with a personal computer and have a basic knowledge, understanding and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook). Additionally, Great Plains Dynamics or other accounting or business management software experience is desirable.

EDUCATION
