Job Description:

Perform general office duties thereby relieving immediate supervisor of minor clerical functions. Will generally working in a one-on-one relationship, but may, be assigned to work for more than one staff in some locations.

Performs a variety of clerical administrative tasks

Performs secretarial duties

Pace of work is erratic, with periods in which work is rapidly paced

Duties are generally diverse with some duties requiring analysis and reasoning

Answer telephone, take messages or refer calls to appropriate department

Regular contact with local members

Requirements:

3 to 5 years of Administrative experience (minimum) with longevity in past work history ** will only consider candidate with administrative assistant experience

Legal administrative experience is a major plus

Typing minimum of 50/wpm

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, WordPerfect or MS Word, Excel, Access

Ability to learn new software and computer equipment as required by supervisor or as technology changes

  • Lays out dimensions on materials with ruler, measuring tape and pencil

  • Assembles materials

  • Places product in container

  • Bolts heavy pieces to bottom of container or skid

  • Wraps and pads product with excelsior, paper or other packing material

  • Builds crate around large or odd-shaped articles

  • Nail cover on crate

Job Title: Crater/Packer I

Location: Fort Worth

Shift: 3rd, 11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday plus overtime

(may train in 1st shift)

Pay: $13.36/hr

Overview:

Fabricates wooden crates or boxes and packs such items as machinery, vehicles or other large or odd shaped products.

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

  • Reads blueprints, shipping notices, other specifications and inspects product to determine size and shape of container, materials to be used, types of supports and braces

  • Lays out dimensions on materials with ruler, measuring tape and pencil

  • Assembles materials

  • Places product in container

  • Bolts heavy pieces to bottom of container or skid

  • Wraps and pads product with excelsior, paper or other packing material

  • Builds crate around large or odd-shaped articles

  • Nail cover on crate

  • Wraps ad tightens metal bands around crate

  • Attaches identification labels or stencils containing such information as shipping destination, weight and type of product contained onto crate

  • Weighs loaded crate

  • Moves container to shipping area then moves lumber, paper and other supplies to crating area

  • Ensures safety and accuracy of items packed

Job Description:

The Mortgage Loan Officer reports to the Mortgage Production Manager and is responsible for pre-qualifying members to determine the proper loan program, complete loan applications and keep members informed of the loan status. Primary loan origination channels include but are not limited to the Credit Union's Internet site, referrals of members from Credit Unions branches, internal business units and external partners. The Mortgage Loan Officer will also be expected to participate in member seminars and mortgage-related Credit Union events.

  • Provide excellent customer service to Credit Union members and employees.

  • Maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, internal partners and members in association with the member base.

  • Maintain effective communication with all Credit Union departments to ensure coordination and exchange of information for accomplishing Credit Union goals.

  • Work collaboratively with staff in analyzing and solving situations that may arise in the mortgage application and loan process.

  • Keep informed of trends and developments in the local real estate market.

  • Recommend product and pricing changes to ensure the company is competitive within the industry.

  • Be familiar with federal and state regulations governing Credit Union lending, with particular emphasis on rules and regulations governing real property lending on first mortgage loans and secondary emphasis on home equity loans.

  • Strive for continuous improvement of processes and quality of service in support of Credit Union goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience preferred.

  • Minimum of three years' recent mortgage loan origination and processing experience on conventional, FHA, and/or VA products or in the financial services industry preferred.

  • Minimum three years' experience in a customer service related industry preferred.

  • Strong math proficiency, with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Proficient PC skills (including mortgage software programs), with the ability to learn new software applications.

  • Ability to perform under deadlines in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently, and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.

  • Coordinate the transfer of data to external vendors for plan eligibility.

  • Monitors payment of employee contributions while on an unpaid leave of absence.

  • Calculates employee payroll deductions for such plans and then processes this information into Ceridian HRMS to include dependent information and qualifying life event changes.

  • Compiles new-employee orientation package and conducts new hire orientation meetings, assuring appropriate benefit enrollment documentation is received and filed.

  • Assists in the Annual Open Enrollment process including communication, working with vendors and the coordination of material to associates.

  • Coordinates and completes the benefit enrollment for all new employees as part of new-hire orientation.

  • Computes and prepares for the payment of monthly insurance bills then balances premium payment reports.

  • Processes vendor premium invoices on a monthly basis using automated reports generated by the benefits system, resolving discrepancies, tracking payments with finance and creating internal reports for company management.

  • Maintains employee files and other human resources department files.


Requirements:

  • Working and practical knowledge administering Benefit plans.

  • Strong knowledge of HR systems (Ceridian a plus but not required).

  • Possess a high level of professionalism; interact with staff at all levels within the organization and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Be a self-starter and able to work with little supervision.

  • Manufacturing or union experience desired.

  • Knowledge of basic medical, dental, and mental health terminology.

  • Some knowledge of the federal and state laws, rules and regulations pertaining to employee benefits.

  • Ability to interpret and explain technical employee benefit policies and procedures to employees.

  • Ability to handle complaints, make decisions and resolve disputes regarding insurance coverage.

  • Experience administering benefit plans in a Labor Union environment a plus, not required.
