Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialists

Location: Dallas, TX

Pay: $51,000

Job Description:

• The Accounts Payable Specialists is responsible for processing authorized invoices and providing instructions and accounting support to other personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures

• General ledger experience

• Full understanding of the distribution cycle

• Working with day to day account payable process

• Process invoices for payment and enter invoices into the system

• Identify and electronically tag fixed assets in Senior System

• Maintain financial information, filed and records such as checks, documentation, reimbursements, reports, vendor files, for documentation and compliance

• Prepare memo and documentation of checks to be reviewed by the finance team

• Foster positive working relationships with vendors and school staff

Qualifications:

• 2 years or more of Accounts Payable Experience

• Bachelors preferred but not requited

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge working with Veracross Systems preferred

• Proficient in Excel and Word

• Occasional lifting, carrying, and or pulling

• Generally 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing
