CornerStone Staffing has partnered with The City of Dallas Department of Aviation, seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented high school student to join their Airport Relations/Community Engagement team for a summer internship.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aviation outreach, event planning, and stakeholder engagement at Dallas Love Field Airport and Dallas Executive Airport.

Job Title: Airport Relations/Community Engagement Summer Intern
Location: Dallas Love Field Airport & Dallas Executive Airport
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday Thursday (9:00 AM 4:00 PM); Friday (9:00 AM 1:00 PM)
Duration: Summer Internship

Responsibilities

• Participate in site visits and meetings with tenants, concessionaires, community members, and other stakeholders.

• Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks for the Airport Relations/Community Engagement team.

• Support event planning, community meetings, and outreach activities.

• Research, compile, and maintain accurate contact lists for airport notification projects.

• Prepare newsletters, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external audiences.

• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in airport marketing and communications.

• Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance, as it is an essential function of the role

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent analytical and research skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

• Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with City officials and staff at all levels.

• Interest in aviation and/or community engagement is a plus.

Education & Experience

• Current high school sophomore or junior in good academic standing.

• Preferred (but not required): Prior experience in community engagement, outreach, real estate, or event planning.
