Job Title: Auto Finance Associate

Order: 137249

Location: Irving

Pay: $18/hr.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm or 9am - 6pm (Must be flexible for both)

**90 days on site and then transitions to fully remote. May need to return to the office for monthly meetings.**

The Finance Associate is responsible for maintaining company floorplan credit lines.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Flooring In order to maximize cash flow, ensure all vehicles meeting company guidelines are added to our established credit lines in advance of lender cutoff schedules. After vehicles have been added to the credit line, journal entries should be recorded to accurately reflect the new liabilities and an excel spreadsheet should be kept of all activities performed.

• Payoffs All sold vehicles should be removed from our lender credit lines using payoff schedules that ensure maximum cash flow while operating within lender terms. Resulting journal entries should be recorded to reflect all payoff activity.

• Schedule Cleaning All accounting schedules affected by floorplan and payoff activity should be reconciled at least twice a week to ensure compliance with all company and lender requirements.

• Perform all other projects and tasks as requested.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years of General Ledger experience

• Working knowledge of MS Office software MS Excel, Access, Word, and Office

• Experience handling high volume of paperwork in multiple computer database systems

• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Must be highly organized, and have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities

• Automotive accounting experience is preferred, but not required
