Job Description

CornerStone Staffing is on the lookout for 20+ Patient Access/Benefit Verification Reps in Fort Worth, TX and Cary, NC. If you re familiar with benefits, claims, and copay assistance, this could be your next big opportunity!

You ll be joining one of the largest independent specialty pharmacies, focusing on rare diseases and cancer treatments.

Location: Forth Worth, TX and Cary, NC (100% On-Site)
Pay: $21.35/hr
Schedule: Monday Friday, with shifts between 8am - 8pm EST; some flexibility for overtime and weekends
Training: 8AM - 5PM for 4 weeks; after training, you ll get your regular schedule

What You ll Be Doing:

  • Keeping track of all your communications and documentation in our system.

  • Helping patients get the financial support they need by finding copay assistance and sharing these resources with them and their providers.

  • Updating providers on patient info and recording everything in our system.

  • Using clinical notes from providers to start prior authorizations through various channels.

  • Assisting patients with their applications for financial help and following up to make sure everything s complete.

  • Checking in on applications until we get a decision on financial support.

  • Handling calls from patients, doctors, and clinics about our services, financial programs, and application processes.

  • Working with our Patient Benefit team to get prescriptions to the right pharmacies or providers.

  • Reporting any adverse events or product complaints to clinicians.

What We re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma

  • At least 1 year of experience with benefits, claims, copay assistance, or pharmacy work

  • 1+ years of data entry experience (including creating profiles and working with medication info)

  • Experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus

  • Great communication skills

  • Flexibility with your schedule

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Willingness to take a typing test
