CornerStone Staffing is hiring for Remote Benefits Verification Representatives for an excellent Healthcare Advocacy company!

Benefits Verification Representatives will be making outbound customer service calls to obtain medical benefits information.

Remote Work from Home (Applicant must reside within a 30 mile radius from Lake Mary, Florida)

Benefits:

Pay: $18-21/hr. (based on experience)

Schedule: 8 hour shift between 8am-8pm EST; Monday- Friday (occasional Saturdays);

40 hour work week

Job Summary:

• Assisting patients to get access to medications or devices for their health needs.

• Responsible for providing customer service by responding to calls regarding inquiries from healthcare benefits members and insurance providers in a remote customer service environment.

• Collect data from patients and healthcare providers so that patients can get access for treatments.

• Accurately respond to phone inquiries and document all inquiries and updates regarding the customer s medical benefits.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year previous customer service experience

• Answer customer service calls to respond to all benefits inquiries made by patients, vendors, medical insurance companies

• Responding to customer service inquiries regarding healthcare patient accounts

• Maintains a good working relationship and effective customer service communication

Preferred skills/experience/familiarity:

• Certificate in medical billing and coding

• Experience in medical collections

• HIPAA regulations

• Benefit verification

• Copay, co-insurance, deductible

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required
