L ocation: Cary, North Carolina ( 100% On-Site)

Pay: $21.35/hr

Schedule: Monday Friday *available for shift between 8am - 8pm EST | flexible for OT & Weekends

**Training schedule is 8AM - 5PM for 4 weeks; after training you will be given a work schedule **

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter all communication and documentation into the client platform.

• Use available resources to secure copay assistance for patients needing financial aid and inform both providers and patients of these resources.

• Communicate patient updates with providers and document them in the client system.

• Use clinical notes from providers to start prior authorizations via online portal, phone, or fax.

• Help patients complete assistance applications, following up with patients, providers, and third parties to ensure completion.

• Monitor assistance applications with third parties until a determination is made for copay or free good support.

• Handle inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, and clinics about services, financial support programs, and applications.

• Coordinate with the Patient Benefit team to start the pharmacy workflow once assistance is approved.

• Redirect prescriptions to preferred pharmacies or hub providers when needed, ensuring receipt.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Report complications (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• 1+ year of experience in benefits verification, claims, copay, or pharmacy

• 1+ year of data entry experience (creating profiles, medication knowledge)

• Pharmacy experience preferred

• Strong communication skills

• Flexible schedule

• Attention to detail

• Must be willing to take a typing test
