Collections Support Representative

Compensation & Schedule
$15.00/hour (Temp-to-Hire); increases to $22.00/hour upon permanent hire
Flexible 8-hour shifts between 9AM 9PM EST, Monday Sunday (must be available any day)
W2 employment

ROLE IMPACT
This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in the collections field and is ideal for individuals looking to launch or grow their career in financial services. Success in this position is measured by your ability to support repayment efforts, engage clients with empathy, and meet performance benchmarks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contact clients to resolve delinquent accounts with professionalism and urgency
Negotiate payment plans tailored to individual financial situations
Log all collection efforts and outcomes in internal systems accurately
Consistently meet or exceed performance targets for call volume and resolution
Partner with supervisors to escalate and manage high-risk or complex cases

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of customer service experience
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Two verifiable professional references

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
Microsoft Office Suite
Internal CRM or collections software
Telephony and call logging platforms

PREFERRED SKILLS
Prior call center experience
Strong time management and decision-making skills
Team-oriented with excellent verbal communication
