Job Title: Office Clerk
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Pay: $16/hr.
Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday Friday
Position Summary: Responsible for researching, collecting, organizing, analyzing and tabulating information for the development of Low-Income Public Housing (PH), Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Section 8 Project-Based, USDA and Rural Housing, Mixed-Finance Housing, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Neighborhood Stabilization Program Housing, and State Housing programs.
Job Description:

Collecting data from the client, such as current utility allowances, unit characteristics, applicable utility providers, copies of sample residential utility bills, and climatic data.

Gathering residential utility rates and charges from utility providers Internet websites, through email correspondence, faxing, and/or calling the providers to obtain verbal and written documentation about utility rates and charges.

Analyzing collected information for completeness of forms and accuracy of data. May be asked to follow up with client for any incomplete information, discrepancies, and/or missing forms.

Prepare utility rates comparisons of current utility rates to previous utility rates for the purpose of determining if there has been a 10% change, and thus a need to update the utility allowances. Creating, updating, reviewing and proofing utility rate comparison charts. Notifying President/CEO of completion of comparison.

Ability to format text into manuals using Word

Ability to create forms and documents in Word

Ability to create and format an Excel spreadsheet

Must have general knowledge of computers, printers and copiers

Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

Must be able to work under deadlines

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on being professional, clear, and concise.
