Job title: Collections Specialist

Pay: $19 Hourly

Location: On-site, Irving, TX (100% in office)

Schedule: Monday Friday; 8-5

Job Duties: Contact clients and collect outstanding payments while keeping a balance between maintaining trustful relationships and ensuring timely payments.

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts

• Investigate historical data for each debt or bill

• Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments

• Take actions to encourage timely debt payments

• Process payments and refunds

• Resolve billing and customer issues

• Update account status records and billing efforts

• Report on billing activity and accounts receivable status

• Monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments

• Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity

Job Qualifications :

• 1+ years of Customer Service or Collections Experience

• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques

• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases

• Comfortable working with target accounts

• Patience and ability to manage stress

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

• Skilled in negotiation

• Problem-solving skills

• Accounting background preferred

• High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred
