Job Title : Construction Safety Coordinator (Safety Manager)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $85,000 - $95,000/annually *DOE*

Job Description:

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project owners, insurance carriers, staff, and craft/trade partners.

• Assist project team in safety program development, implementation, and management, including budgeting and supply anticipation.

• Maintain project safety documentation and statistical data, overseeing the safety point file system.

• Participate in quality control/safety processes, including activity hazard analyses and follow-up inspections, focusing on high-risk activities.

• Conduct project safety training and assist in developing the training schedule, as needed.

• Lead the development and implementation of the project's safety program (SAFE program) and analyze safety trends to address unsafe practices.

• Conduct project safety audits and assist in team audits.

• Evaluate and develop personnel, ensuring compliance with construction processes and understanding of roles and responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Recommended minimum of 3 years of experience in safety on commercial construction projects.

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on Occupational Safety and Health.

• Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification suggested.

• Valid Driver s License.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel-based templates, Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite.
