Job Opportunity: Contract Analyst Administrator
Pay Rate: $25/hour

Location: Downtown Dallas, TX(MUST pay for own parking)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Analyst Administrator with a background in municipal operations. This role focuses on managing and overseeing the lifecycle of contracts, from solicitations to renewals, ensuring compliance and accuracy at every stage. If you excel in clerical work, have advanced organizational skills, and are proficient in procurement processes, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities

Contract Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including solicitations, renewals, and upcoming procurement activities.

  • Track contract milestones to ensure timely completion of key deliverables.

  • Post solicitations on appropriate platforms, ensuring compliance with municipal policies.

  • Prepare and distribute solicitation documents, maintaining clear communication with vendors.

  • Monitor vendor responses and manage the solicitation process from start to finish.

  • Maintain accurate records of contracts and related data using tracking systems.

  • Generate reports and analyze data to support decision-making and compliance.

  • Perform clerical duties related to contract management, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

  • Support procurement activities through document preparation, filing, and data organization.

  • Use Excel to track, report, and analyze contract data (intermediate skills required).

  • Utilize Microsoft Teams and Visio to facilitate collaboration and visualize contract workflows (preferred experience).

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a municipal environment is required, with a solid understanding of municipal procurement processes.

  • Strong clerical and organizational abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with posting solicitations, document distribution, and monitoring procurement workflows.

  • Proficiency in data management and reporting, particularly in Excel.

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and Visio is a plus.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with vendors and stakeholders.

  • Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
