CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a customer that is a family owned and operated plumbing service in the Lewisville area. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in being a part of a family owned business, has excellent communication skills and loves to pick up the phone and have conversations with established clients and potential new clients.

Job Title: Dispatcher for HVAC/Plumbing Company

Location: Lewisville, TX

Pay: $18-20/hr based on experience

Schedule: Must be flexible to work any day of the week 8am-5pm

Job Description:
Our client is a family owned and operated plumbing company located in Lewisville! In this role, you will be turning the customer s initial inquiry into a scheduled service call and seeing that call through to completion. This includes assigning and sending the appropriate technician to the call. Keeping the dispatch board updated as to the status of each call as it progresses. Making sure the job is completed and debrief the technician. Making a Happy Call to the homeowner.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls when phone ring and to help cover for CSR s.

  • Conversion of the customer inquiry to a Service Call .

  • Deployment of the appropriate Plumbing Technician base on skill level, assigned equipment, profitability, and geographical location.

  • Ability to read a map, understand driving and weather conditions as they relate to the work the technicians will perform, and keep up with the schedule as it evolves throughout the day.

  • Know the job priority schedule for plumbing and HVAC technicians and dispatch according to urgency levels, technician skillset, and company profitability.

  • Follow through with customer and the Technician as to the status of the job and to ensure that time commitments for customer s appointments are kept.

  • Debrief technician at the end of every call.

  • Customer Happy Calls and the end of each completed job to ensure professionalism of the technician, completion of the job, and follow ups that may be needed on estimates that were discussed with the customer by the technician.

  • Call on any estimate only calls and warranty calls when the technician is completed in order to ensure that the work was completed correctly for all warranty calls and to find out when the customer is thinking about moving forward for all estimate only calls.

  • Generate job related purchase orders for technicians.

  • Attempt to solve customer complaints by listening to the complaint and offering appropriate solutions. Fill out complaint forms as needed to keep management informed of any potential problems with customers and or Technicians or to escalate an issue to management.

  • Maintain the dispatch board.

  • Contact customers with parts pending status as parts are received for scheduling.

  • Scheduling maintenance agreements.

  • Update customer database to ensure accurate information for clients, including but not limited to names, billing address, location address, phone number, email address and deactivate accounts that are no longer valid.

  • Call on estimates left by technicians to assist client with options such as financing, product knowledge, requirements of the type of job, etc. to schedule the job for the technician.

  • Daily review of calls on hold to move to the next phase of the job or to schedule collection of the job as needed.

  • Work with Call Center Manager to meet or exceed daily production goals and key performance indicators.


Requirements:

  • Previous HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industry customer service experience is required

  • Repairmen also welcome to apply

  • Call center or dispatch experience is also a plus

  • Strong willingness to learn and be a team player
