Job Title: Document Processor

Location: Lewisville, TX

Pay: $16.00/hr - $18.50/hr. (based on experience)

Schedule: Hours of Operations are 7am - 7:30pm

Job Description:

The Document Processor is responsible for processing documents sent by our referring physicians. The Document Processor functions as the liaison between the PACE, the referring physician, and the USRS center by processing all documents within the defined Document Processing service level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles and processes documents within defined service level

• Enters physician orders in the system of record accurately and timely creating an ordered exam

• Associates documents to the patient profile within the system of record

• Research s incomplete orders by contacting the referring physician s office if needed and ensures all proper documentation is received and processed

• Follows established procedures and processes

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years data entry experience in a health care environment with multiple locations.

• Medical terminology preferred.

• Familiarity with referring physician orders, clinical notes, and radiology diagnostic exams preferred.

• Experience working with a computerized scheduling system preferred.

• Attention to detail, documenting and completing data entry at a fast pace.

• Fast paced work environment
