CornerStone Staffing is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Facilities Manager **MUST be okay handling maintenance duties as well**

Location: Dallas, Texas (Mockingbird and 35)

Pay: 45,000 to 50,000 annually

Schedule: 8am to 5pm (Monday to Friday)

SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manages facility, asset management and safety needs of the organization. Responsible for creating and managing the department budget. Provides direct supervision of the Facilities Administrative Coordinator. This position reports to the Vice President of Community Outreach and Administration with significant demand for independent judgment and action.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Facility Management : Ensures day to day repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep are met at all facilities through both hands-on execution as well as vendor management. Manages annual and quarterly maintenance and ensures purchasing schedules are met for each of the facilities owned or leased. Oversees mail operations and phone system set up and messaging. Liaison to Building Management for all leased facilities. Assists agency expansion or construction needs along with the planning and set-up of new centers and facilities as a part of the transition team.

Asset Management : Oversees and directs asset management for the agency, ensuring database is kept current for assets over $500, adding new purchases, removing outdated and broken inventory and following disposal procedures as governed by contracts.

Safety: Implements emergency procedures and policies, ensures that employee safety needs are addressed and that quarterly inspections are conducted. Serves as a liaison between the insurance brokerage and the agency to ensure claims are handled appropriately.

Financial : Manages the budget for Administration and other programs that fall under the administration department, ensuring that items are coded appropriately and that the budgetary guidelines are followed. Responsible for annual budget projections each year. Reviews and follows up on suggestions to find innovative ways of reducing costs without sacrificing service.

Supervision Given : Directly supervises an administrative support person. Responsible for supporting staff performance through coaching, guiding and teambuilding to ensure that CCG s Vision/Mission, Values and Beliefs are incorporated into daily workflow of team. Acts in the best interests of the agency.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors or Associates degree, industry specific certifications or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Minimum of five years facilities experience required. Supervisory and vendor management experience preferred

  • Experience in general handyman skills such as basic to moderate level repairs and facility maintenance, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc.

  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.

  • Well organized, proven time manager, displaying proven administrative abilities

  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and follow-up

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines with limited supervision

  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and flexible

  • Access to reliable transportation required at all times during office hours and off hours as needed

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Must have ability to work successfully in a team environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Local travel required. Must have reliable transportation; valid Texas driver s license, proof of liability insurance and driving record acceptable to our automobile liability insurance carrier

  • Work requires normal physical effort, visual attention, manual dexterity or coordination. Any lifting restricted to items weighing less than 25 pounds
