Job Title: Financial Analyst

Pay: $22 - $25/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Standard business hours (EST)

Responsibilities:

Manage the purchase order (PO) creation and approval process, including coordinating with internal stakeholders for approvals.

Assist with quarterly accruals and budget management, requiring a strong understanding of budget structures.

Support the Rare Disease Business Unit by overseeing ongoing budget management, planning activities, purchase requisitions, and invoice management.

Collaborate with department leaders to develop quarterly and annual budget targets based on strategic priorities.

Monitor spending against targets and highlight any discrepancies to the RDBU budget manager.

Assist in preparing quarter-end and year-end accruals.

Continuously improve budgeting tools and processes, serving as the go-to resource for team members with budget-related questions.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Bachelor's degree OR

o Associate degree with 4 years of experience OR

o High school diploma/GED with 6 years of experience

Experience:

o 1-2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst

o Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
