Bilingual Customer Service Representative Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation & Schedule
Pay range: $17.82/hour
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with 1-hour lunch break
W2, Full-time
ROLE IMPACT
The Customer Service Representative supports the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program by providing essential front-line administrative and client support. This role plays a vital part in determining eligibility, managing sensitive health data, and ensuring smooth program operations to aid underserved families across the community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Interview and assess WIC applicants to determine income and residency eligibility; collect and verify ID and immunization status
Complete data entry using Texas WIN and XP software; issue EBT food instruments and track inventory
Record medical data including blood samples, heights, and weights for adults, infants, and children
Provide courteous check-in and appointment scheduling; deliver clear information on available services
Maintain accurate records, respond to calls, file and purge documentation, and support general WIC office operations
Screen immunization records and refer participants to health and social services as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years in healthcare, education, or community/social services
Bilingual In English and Spanish
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information and maintain organized records
Must complete WIC nutrition modules during probationary period. Bilingual communication (Spanish/English) required
