Job Title: HR Administrative Assistant (Bilingual)
Location: Downtown - Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Pay: $20.00/hour
Responsibilities:

Standard Office duties such as copying, filing, archiving, updating workday Business processes
-
Handle the infrequent office supply needs for the office, playing an order for the office
-
Research specialized items for prices for the bid process
-
Prepare New Employee Orientation (NEO) Notebook, make copies and assemble the notebooks in the conference room
-
Responsible to assist workforce development supervisors as needed
-
Receive and assign Liability or damage claims to the appropriate area of the department; these claims are made by residents reporting an injury from any of their amenities
-
Track the leave status of department employees out on admin leave, injury (occupational and non-occupational), FMLA, extended illness, and limited duty assignments etc.

Coordinate a monthly Workers Comp claims review between our office and the Office of Risk Management so we actively review the status of our cases

May assist with on-site at trainings, job fairs and other department related events requiring all hands-on deck; typically assisting us with registering attendees, set-up, logistics

Staying in contact with perspective new hires during the Onboarding process to keep the process moving.

Reviewing and approving NeoGov and WorkDay Requisitions, promotions and terminations.

Updating and maintaining new employee profiles in NeoGov (until it sunsets in 2024).

Updating and maintaining the email distribution lists.

Monitoring the various department HR email boxes

Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

Ability to maintain confidentiality is of extreme importance

Ability to be flexible, to work independently and excellent time management skills

Relevant experience in an office environment in an administrative position

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
-
Excellent writing skills strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
-
Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
-
HS diploma or GED required
-
Bilingual Spanish Required
