CornerStone Staffing is recruiting for an exciting opportunity in the Medical Benefits Industry with Call Center experience required! Apply now for this amazing opportunity!

The Medical Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for verifying patients insurance benefits and eligibility, ensuring that all information is documented and communicated to healthcare providers.

Location: Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.

Pay: $18-20/hr. based on experience

Schedule: 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)

Job Description:

  • Confirm patient insurance coverage and eligibility for medical services.

  • Obtain medical benefit information for insurance companies.

  • Document communication with insurance providers and patients.

  • Assist patients in understanding their benefits and possible out-of-pocket costs.

Preferred skills/experience:

  • One year of healthcare call center experience

  • Benefit verification - Prior Authorization

  • Medical collections

  • Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

  • Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible

  • PAP - patient assistance programs

Education:

  • Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent

  • Criminal Background & Drug Screening

  • 2 verifiable employment references
