Job Title: Healthcare Operations Lead
Location: Fully Remote - equipment will be provided
Applicant must reside close to the following States and Zip Codes to be considered for this role:
TX (75056), NC (28217), FL (32746)
Length of Role: Position starts September 30th, 2024 and will end sometime in February 2025
Based on the needs of the business candidates can be considered for full-time employment after the temporary time ends
Pay: $20-22/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday. Must be able to work 7am 7pm CST or 8am 8pm EST
Must be able to work all shifts in that time frame
Candidate must be flexible to work Saturday's if needed
Description:
The Healthcare Operations Team Lead provides daily support and coaching to remote staff performing Benefit Verifications within a Micro-Hub. They help the Supervisor and Area Director or Manager meet the team s productivity goals, customer service standards, and quality control measures for all projects.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

Provide daily instructions to team members on processing Benefit Investigations

Offer coaching and support to resolve issues for team members during benefit investigations

Monitor seasonal employee performance to ensure tasks meet client service level requirements

Conduct daily monitoring of employee production to ensure performance standards and quality control measures are met

Assist the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager with training initiatives to prepare Reimbursement Specialists to meet performance benchmarks

Escalate issues to the Supervisor as needed

Help develop program training documents

Ensure open communication with staff
-
Identify and propose solutions for program issues to the supervisor

Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers

Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, physician s office, healthcare setting, and/or insurance background
-
1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
-
Highly desirable: Experience in processing benefit investigations in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED / Preferred: Bachelor s Degree

Highly desirable: Experience in directing a remote workforce

Ability to grasp and apply supervisory and coaching concepts and best practices

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
