Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: WORK FROM HOME- FULLY REMOTE - EQUIPMENT PROVIDED
Applicant must reside in TX, AZ, IN, KY, NC, SC, GA, FL to be considered for this role
Length of Role: Starts Mid October and ends mid - February 2025, based on the needs of the business candidates can be considered for full-time
Pay: $20-23/hr
Schedule: 7am 7pm CST or 8am 8pm EST | must be able to work all shifts
Typically Monday to Friday position, but candidate must be flexible to work Saturday's if needed
The Quality Assurance Specialist is a remote position responsible for performing a specific set of protocols designed to ensure quality standards are being met during the benefit reverification project. Tasks include reviewing a predetermined number of benefit verifications for completeness and accuracy.
Primary Roles And Responsibilities
Complete quality initiatives, as assigned for review of daily benefit verifications
Update Quality documentation as needed
Provide feedback to supervisor as needed and based on quality control protocols
Meet assigned quotas for number of BVs per day
Document evaluations utilizing departmental quality monitoring templates established quality standards, and quality monitoring technology
Participate in regular calibration meetings with QA team, and assigned management to ensure consistency of expectations, standards, and evaluations
Proactively identifies trends based on quality evaluations and provides program Operations leadership with regular performance feedback
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
2 years experience performing benefit investigations or closely aligned medical and insurance work
General knowledge of medical/pharmacy insurance is a huge plus
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and general data analysis
High attention to detail and the ability to perform 100% QC checks on large amounts of data
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for presentation and report development
High School Diploma or GED
