Job Title: Healthcare Team Lead
Location: WORK FROM HOME - FULLY REMOTE - EQUIPMENT PROVIDED
Candidates must be located near TX (75056), NC (28217), or FL (32746) to qualify for this position.
Length of Role: Begins November 1st and runs until mid-February 2025. Full-time opportunities may be available based on business needs.
Pay: $20-23/hr
Schedule: 7am 7pm CST or 8am 8pm EST | Must be available for all shifts
Typically a Monday to Friday role, with some flexibility required for Saturday shifts.
As a Team Lead, you ll oversee daily operations and coaching for remote staff handling Benefit Verifications within a designated Micro-Hub. You ll support the Supervisor and Area Director or Manager in reaching daily and weekly productivity goals, meeting customer service standards, and ensuring quality control measures are implemented across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily guidance to team members on processing Benefit Investigations

Offer coaching and support for issue resolution to ensure successful benefit investigation outcomes

Monitor seasonal employees performance to ensure compliance with client service level requirements

Track team production daily to ensure performance standards and quality control are met

Assist the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager with training initiatives for Reimbursement Specialists, Seasonal, to help them achieve required performance benchmarks

Escalate issues to the Supervisor as needed following established protocols

Contribute to the development of training materials for the program

Maintain open lines of communication with team members

Identify potential program issues and suggest solutions to the Supervisor

Foster positive relationships with both internal and external customers

Perform additional related duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Profile:
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, physician s office, or healthcare environment; insurance background preferred

At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience

Experience in processing benefit investigations in a fast-paced setting is highly desirable

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor s Degree preferred but not mandatory

Experience managing a remote team is a plus
