Hospital Medical Coder Requirements:

• Professional coding for Hospital Evaluation and Management (E&M) Coding for multiple specialty providers

• Coding of physician/advanced practice provider services performed in the hospital setting (e.g. initial hospital visits, subs hospital visits, inpatient consults).

• Coding of professional services facility setting, NOT facility coding

• Must have CPC or CCS-P

• High School Diploma or GED

Hospital Medical Coder REQUIRED Software:

• Epic

• EncoderPro

• MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Excel)

~FLU Shot REQUIRED~

**Remote Position ~ You MUST have your own equipment**

Hospital Medical Coder Pay: Up To $33/hr (based on experience)

Hospital Medical Coder Location: TX only (30 miles within Arlington, TX)

Hospital Medical Coder Shift Hours:

(Temp to Hire)

• M-F Days 8-5pm with a 1hr meal break

Hospital Medical Coder Immunizations Required:

• Flu Shot

• TB Test

• TDAP Vaccination

Hospital Medical Coder Process Includes:

• Background Check

• Drug Screen
