Job Title: Import Specialist

Location: Fort Worth, TX, 76155

Pay: $19/hr.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Length of Assignment: Temporary, 3+ months

Responsibilities:

• Support daily inbound operations

• Work closely with customs brokers to secure prompt releases from US Customs and Partner Government Agencies

• Verify shipment documentation for proper valuation, classification, country of origin, OGA/PGA requirements, and record retention

• Extract, proofread, analyze and update export data components as necessary in SAP

• Liaise with shippers, consignees, 3PL s, brokers and overseas office

• Perform special tasks related to export operations as assigned

Requirements:

• REQUIRED 2+ years of logistics, import exp

• REQUIRED 2+ years working with Freight Forwarding Companies

• Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

• Fast learner

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Detail and quality oriented with strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Professional communication verbal and written

• High School Diploma or GED
