Job Title: Medical Insurance Verification Representatives

Location: Fully Remote After Training (Must reside in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area)

**Please note that training may be on site in Downtown Dallas for several weeks

Pay: $19/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, some overtime will be required

Job Description:

Provides patients, physicians, and internal hospital personnel with information regarding insurance benefit information. The Insurance Specialist ensures timely verification of insurance benefits and financial clearance when applicable for patient accounts that are scheduled and/or unscheduled. The Insurance Specialist calculates Patient Financial Responsibility and collaborates with physician and facility staff. The role also documents in appropriate systems to assure correct reimbursement

Requirements:

• Must have 1+ year experience working in physician's office/hospital doing insurance verifications

• Insurance terminology

• Medical terminology

• Ability to work independently and multi-task

• Type 35-40 words per meeting, minimum

• Computer knowledge, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, including Outlook

• Understand the technical workings of a computer and VPN telephone

• Fast learner, not easily distracted, and able to retain details and the specific requirements of numerous insurance companies

• COVID Vaccination & Flu Shot required for this specific role
