Job Opportunity: Legislative Bill Analyst
Pay: $25/hour
Location: Downtown Dallas (Note: must pay for own parking)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Hybrid, 25 hours per week)

Position Overview: Seeking a Legislative Bill Analyst to support the City Attorney s Office of Dallas in tracking legislation during the 89th legislative session.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review legislation filed in both the Texas House and Texas Senate throughout the session.

• Categorize legislation impacting the office for tracking purposes.

• Summarize and review tracked legislation at the direction of the state legislative director.

• Monitor and report updates on tracked bills to the state legislative director.

• Maintain tracked legislation data using the Telicon system.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with legislative processes or experience in a similar role is a plus.
