Position: Licensed HVAC Technicians

Location: Lewisville, TX

Pay: $19.00/hr. - $35.00/hr. (BOE)

Duration: DIRECT HIRE! Be a permanent employee from day 1!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Business Hours (On call and Overtime)

Responsibilities:

• Have knowledge of HVAC components such as coils, air-movers, wiring, electronics, control boards, copper tubes, compressors, etc.

• Hands-on with mechanical assembly of HVAC systems and components

• Modify prototypes following the standards and instructions as directed by engineers

• Understand and execute the standard ASHRAE, AHRI, and UL test processes, note anomalies and deviations from the process, and apply the appropriate corrective action

• Read engineering documents like schematics, drawings, technical spec sheets, etc.

• Record and document test setups, results, and incidents in detail and with high-level accuracy

• Be able to do troubleshooting/diagnostics and solve the problems excitedly

• Perform test chamber calibration in accordance with suppliers' guidelines

• Execute all job functions with safety first and foremost

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry preferred

• HVAC Certification and EPA Certification - required

• Driver's license required

• High school diploma or associates degree

• Vocational training/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of air and refrigerants properties

• Hands-on experience with copper and aluminum brazing

• Experience with instrumentation, power, and control wiring, setting up controls, wiring and setting up motors, compressors etc.

• Familiar with R&D environment

• Familiar with computer

• Working in a team environment with minimal supervision

• Familiar with standards and code and ability to follow them thoroughly

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Organized and detail-oriented
