Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC (ONSITE)

(Applicant must reside within 25-30miles of Charlotte, NC)

Start Date: Monday, 12/04/2023~ Jobs will go quickly - get your name on the list!

Duration: 3 months+ Potential Temp To Hire

Pay : $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr BOE

Schedule: **Must be available to work a shift between hours below**

• Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays

• 7:00am - 7:00pm AVAILABILITY

Job Description: Assist with billing and receiving payment from patients or insurance companies. Assist with completing a medical and/or pharmacy benefit investigations. Comfortable making outbound calls to patients and insurance companies.

Duties:

• Assist with requesting and reviewing all medical patient billing and benefit information

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve all requests

• Problem resolution on each file presented

• High volume outbound calls to follow up with patients or insurance companies

• Excellent communication with supervisors

• Handling of data and ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to work onsite daily

• Provide excellent performance and meeting metrics

The ideal candidate:

• Medical/Healthcare experience OR Call Center

• Medical insurance verifications experience

• Medical billing exp.

• Pharmacy and prescription experience is a huge plus!

• Medical office experience is welcome!

• High School Diploma or GED
