Job Title: Medical Call Center Team Lead
Location: WORK FROM HOME- FULLY REMOTE - EQUIPMENT PROVIDED
Applicant must reside close to TX (75056), NC (28217), FL (32746) to be considered for this role
Length of Role: Starts November 1st and ends mid - February 2025, based on the needs of the business candidates can be considered for full-time
Pay: $20-23/hr
Schedule: 7am 7pm CST or 8am 8pm EST | must be able to work all shifts
Typically Monday to Friday position, but candidate must be flexible to work Saturday's if needed
The Team Lead will oversee daily operations and provide coaching support to remote staff handling Benefit Verifications for an assigned team. In this role, you will work closely with the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager to help the team achieve productivity targets, meet customer service standards, and ensure quality control procedures are followed for all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide team members in completing Benefit Investigations
- Offer coaching and assist with issue resolution to ensure successful benefit investigation outcomes
- Monitor task-specific performance of seasonal employees to ensure compliance with client service level agreements
- Track daily production to ensure teams meet performance standards and quality control requirements
- Support training efforts with the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager to prepare Reimbursement Specialists to meet productivity benchmarks
- Escalate issues to the Supervisor following established protocols
- Assist with the creation of training materials
- Maintain open communication with staff
- Identify and propose solutions to program challenges
- Build positive relationships with internal and external customers
- Perform additional duties as needed
Experience Required:
- 2+ years of experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, healthcare setting, or insurance environment preferred
- 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with benefit investigations in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor s Degree preferred but not mandatory
- Experience managing a remote team is a plus
