Location: Fort Worth, TX 76132 (On Site)

Pay: $25-27, Depending on Experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5PM

General Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize AdvantX and Waystar platforms to manage and track collections activities efficiently.

• Initiate contact with insurance companies and patients to resolve outstanding balances and clarify payment discrepancies

• research and resolve billing issues, including denials, appeals, and rejections

• Performs daily bank reconciliation audits of electronic deposits, paper checks, credit card payments and unidentified payments to ensure all monies posted and balanced accurately

• Ability to post adjustments to the patients accounts and reconcile the unapplied cash account on a daily basis

• Corrects incorrect payor/plans in order to post cash by making necessary coverage changes or revising Coordination of Benefits (COB) in patient accounting system

• Reviews liability accounts daily and performs intensive research to identify the accounts associated with the unidentified cash

• Corrects payment errors and exceptions by reviewing and analyzing insurance EOBs, 835 remits, online banking portals, insurance contracts, and CPT coding

Requirements/Duties:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2+ years' experience in Medical Collections ( MUST HAVE: RECENT EXPERIENCE (I.E., 2022-2024 )

• Experience working in customer service or patient collections is preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Office packages; _{(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)}

• 2 to 5 years experience in a medical office, hospital, outpatient surgery center or related field

• Must have familiarity with: Waystar Patient Accounting System AdvantX

• COVID & Annual flu vaccination is required for this specific job opportunity
