CornerStone Staffing is seeking excellent Customer Service Representatives! We are currently seeking candidates with medical experience to work for an excellent Healthcare company in Fort Worth!
Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Pay: $17/hr - $18/hr - depending on experience
JOB ID: 146820
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Location: West Fort Worth (Clearfork area) - Will train on site for 2 weeks then move remote.
Job Description: Responsible for addressing client and/or provider inquiries via email, fax, telephonic, or written correspondence according to internal and client guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take inbound calls and makes outbound calls as needed

Responsible for calling providers for status of overpayment refund requests.

Document all account information into the Health Information System .

Process appeals, incoming emails and faxes

Processes offset report
-
Analyzes client and provider inquiries to determine appropriate steps for resolution.

Performs review of claim history to ensure accurate information is communicated to internal and external customers

Works directly with internal departments and management for resolution of Customer Service inquiries

Able to accurately communicate findings to clients and providers in written and verbal format.

Maintain reports and spreadsheets as needed.

Additional duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Excellent communication, verbal, written and organizational skill
-
MUST HAVE PRIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE

Prior knowledge of inpatient and outpatient hospital revenue cycle required
-
Must have denials, claims, appeals experience.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Contract interpretation, medical terminology and coding knowledge.

Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Needing someone with appeals and denials management exp.
2+ years working with customers in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
2+ years experience as a Customer Service representative
Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills with the ability to interpret, research and identify core issues
Strong customer focus, analytical and decision making skills
Strong technical skills with the ability to work across multiple software systems and comfortable work remote out of your home
