Job Title: Medical Customer Service Representative

Work Location: Plano, TX [4 Days WFH - 1 Day in Office Per Week]

Training Location: 2 Weeks Onsite in Plano, TX from 8:00AM - 5PM

Start Date: Monday, June 19th, 2023

Pay Rate: $20/hr. [$21/hr. for Spanish bilingual candidates!]

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 Hour Shift Between 7AM - 7PM CST

Duration: Temp to Hire! *** LONG-TERM CAREER MOVE ***

Job Duties:

• Assist patients with general inquiries, billing questions, and information updates through inbound/outbound calling.

• Update patient demographics and insurance information as needed.

• Review patient accounts to determine why there is an outstanding balance and effectively explain the details.

• Process payments over the phone from patients.

• Explain insurance company's explanation of benefits (EOB).

• Participate in projects/meetings and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ year(s) of high volume medical call center experience

• Knowledge of medical insurance processes, terminology and explanation of benefits (EOB)

• Must be able to type fluently while speaking with callers

• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask

• Must be able to work in office at least 1 day per week and commit to 2 weeks of onsite training.

• Microsoft Word & Outlook are required; Microsoft Excel is a huge plus!
