Job Title: Medical Eligibility Specialist

Location: Addison, TX

Pay: $22.00-$26.00

Schedule: Mon - Fri, Flexibility for shifts between 8am-8pm (Shifts)

Training: Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm (2/3 weeks)

Job Description:

• Ensure that plan members meet plan eligibility requirements to receive medication(s)

• Coordinate access to alternate funding programs; provide assistance to members and physician staff to complete all necessary financial assistance program forms

• Coordinate delivery and verify receipt of financial assistance forms and applications to members, physician offices, and financial assistance programs

• Maintain a regular cadence of communication with members, physician offices, and financial assistance programs to manage the status of each member

• Utilize Salesforce to accurately document/record all interactions with members, health care providers, pharmacies, and financial assistance entities

• Verify pharmaceuticals/prescriptions dispenses to members

• Resolve inbound calls from members, physicians, and programs as necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years medical office assistant, specialty/infusion pharmacy intake, or healthcare reimbursement

• 2+ years customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment

• College degree preferred

• Spanish Bilingual preferred
