Job Title: Medical Infusion Specialist

Location: Addison, TX

Pay: $21.00-$25.00

Schedule: Mon - Fri, Flexibility for shifts between 8am-8pm (Shifts)

Training: Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm (2/3 weeks)

Job Description:

• Obtain infusion Therapy referrals from referral sources

• Enter member demographic, insurance and authorization information into the computer system

• Maintain precise and up to date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes and adverse reactions

• Submit alternate funding billing and override information to the dispensing specialty pharmacy

• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding infusion procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.

Requirements:

• Minimum two (2) years of experience collecting referral information in an Infusion Center, Medical Providers Office and/or Specialty Pharmacy, preferably working directly with infusion therapies.

• Experience working with all payer types, including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance companies.

• Knowledge of insurance verification and pre-certification procedures
