Job Title: Medical Pharmacy Technician

Location: Addison, TX

Pay: $22.00-$26.00

Schedule: Mon - Fri, Flexibility for shifts between 8am-8pm (Shifts)

Training: Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm (2/3 weeks)

Job Description:

• Track and process various pharmacy and medical claim reports to identify current users of specialty drugs

• Accurately and efficiently enter claims data in Salesforce

• Identify program participants and completes intake preparation by verifying plan eligibility and creating: contacts, cases, referrals, and tasks in Salesforce

• Submit alternate funding billing and override information to the dispensing specialty pharmacy

• Research pharmacy and medical benefits in order to process benefit overrides

• Enter (or submit) override details in the PBM claim system and informs the dispensing pharmacy when to reprocess claims

• Utilize access to multiple PBM claim systems to identify new members, verify eligibility, enter overrides and investigating claim issues

• Verify that PBM claims are processing per implementation guidelines

Requirements:

**CPhT or PTCB Certification preferred **

• Minimum 3+ years of PBM, pharmacy operations, or claims processing experience required;

• Minimum 2 years of recent dispensing and claims adjudication experience

• Strong analytical, planning, organizational, communication, and time management skills;

• Spanish Bilingual is a plus
