The Medical Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for coordinating the reimbursement process for healthcare services provided to patients.

Location: Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.

Pay: $18-20/hr. based on experience

Schedule: 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)

Job Description:

• Communicate with patients regarding their insurance benefits, billing inquiries, and payment options.

• Confirms accurate coding, timely submission of claims to insurance companies.

• Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.

• Ensure all necessary documentation is included to support claims and facilitate payment.

Preferred skills/experience:

• One year of healthcare call center experience

• Benefit verification - Prior Authorization

• Medical collections

• Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

• Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible

• PAP - patient assistance programs

Education:

• Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
