Job Title: Paralegal

Location: Downtown Dallas, TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $25.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Work with city attorneys and staff primarily regarding Code liens filed by the City

• Research municipal and County court records

• Research County land and tax records

• Meet with client representatives and attorneys to discuss assigned cases or projects

• Draft legal documents and pleadings

• Assist attorneys with trial preparation

• Keep City Attorney s case management system updated on accounts worked

• Other Duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Paralegal certificate required OR Paralegal experience OR pursuing Paralegal certificate or degree

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent writing skills

• Ability to work independently and display excellent time management skills

• Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)

• HS diploma or GED required
