CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a healthcare provider focused on women s imaging services and is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Location: Nashville, TN

Pay: $18-21/hr

Schedule: 8:30am- 5pm Monday Friday

Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients in a fast-paced medical environment. This role includes front desk operations such as patient check-in, registration, payment processing, and appointment scheduling. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
Accurately input and verify patient demographics and insurance details in EMR
Collect copays and process payments (mostly credit cards)
Manage incoming phone calls across multiple lines
Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed
Scan and upload patient documentation using document management systems
Support clinical flow by preparing forms and escorting patients to changing areas
Maintain accurate end-of-day reconciliation logs
Adhere to strict confidentiality and clinic standards
Participate in team training and stay current on front office procedures

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years of healthcare front desk or customer service experience preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology, EMR systems (Royal Pay, E-Rad), and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage high-pressure situations
Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability

Preferred Skills:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Experience with document management systems (MDM)
Reliable attendance no time off approved during first 3 weeks of training, punctuality and accountability are critical
Must provide own black scrubs
