L ocation: Irving, TX (75063)

Pay: $18.50/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9am 6pm ( must be okay working extended hours during peak season)

Job Description:

• Provide phone support to assist patients and healthcare providers with prescription inquiries and clarifications

• Verify patient information, physician authorization, and insurance approval for prescription orders

• Accurately enter and process new prescriptions and refills into the pharmacy computer system

• Review orders for completeness of information and ensure timely processing

• Assist with third-party claims adjudication and resolving any prescription-related issues

• Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA compliance

• Must be able to support the team in Phone Call answering and management

Job Requirements/Previous Experience:

• High school Diploma or GED

• Healthcare and/or Pharmacy customer service experience (prefer call center)

• Type 35+ words per minute (typing test required)

• 1+ years of experience in a Data Intake role

• Able to lift 40 pounds when support is needed in fulfillment

• Exhibit sense of urgency and superb multi-tasking skills
