Position Details:

• Location:  Jeffersonville, IN 47130 (100% On-Site)

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift:  $18.95/hour
  • Monday: 9:00 AM 7:30 PM
  • Tuesday Friday: 10:00 AM 7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 12:00 PM 8:30 PM
• 2nd Shift:  $18.95/hour + $0.75 Shift Differential
  • Monday: 1:00 PM 11:30 PM
  • Tuesday Friday: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM
  • Every 3rd Saturday: 12:00 PM 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Dispensing:

• Accurately prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
• Measure, count, and package medications as per prescription orders.
• Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells, handling large quantities of bottles and cases.
• Ensure proper labeling and usage instructions on medication containers.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispensing workspace.

Inventory Management:

• Perform stock rotation to prevent medication expiration and ensure availability.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescriptions and related information.

Qualifications:

• Licenses:  Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or Indiana Pharmacy Technician Trainee License.
• Experience:  Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience.
• Proximity:  Must reside within 30 miles of Jeffersonville, IN.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 20 30 lbs. of merchandise and carry short distances.
  • Capable of standing and walking throughout the entire shift.
• Skills:  Basic math, reading, and writing abilities are required.
