CornerStone Staffing has immediate openings in Jeffersonville, IN for Pharmacy Technicians

Location: Jeffersonville, IN 47111 (Fully On-site)

*Candidate must live and be certified in Indiana*

Pay: $19.70/HR

Schedule: M-F (Must have flexibility for 8hr shift) 7:00am-7:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

1. Prescription Processing:

Receive and process prescription orders accurately and efficiently

Verify prescription information for completeness and authenticity

Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing

2. Medication Dispensing:

Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders

Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers

Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area

3. Inventory Management:

Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications

4. Compliance and Regulations:

Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations

Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times

Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information
