Pharmacy Technician
Location: Plano, TX 75024 | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$19 $21/hour (based on experience)
Monday Thursday 8:30am 5:00pm; Friday 8:30am 4:00pm
W2 employment
Start Date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be integral to medication fulfillment, ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare standards. Your precision, agility, and adherence to HIPAA protocols will directly support accurate dispensing, timely delivery, and overall patient satisfaction in a high-volume environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately fill prescriptions, pack medication orders, and manage medication delivery logistics
Operate PARATA machines and other pharmacy automation tools to optimize workflow
Perform cycle counts, manage expired inventory, and organize stock for compliance and readiness
Maintain accurate records through pharmacy systems and uphold HIPAA guidelines for PHI/EPHI
Support pharmacists with preparation, labeling, and verification stages of patient medication orders

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Texas (Required)
High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
1+ years of pharmacy technician experience (Required)

CLINICAL SKILL SET
Use of pharmacy automation systems (e.g., PARATA)
Patient order management to pharmacist verification
Inventory auditing and shelf stocking
EHR/data entry and prescription tracking
Familiarity with state and federal pharmacy laws
HIPAA-compliant patient data handling
Interdepartmental coordination for delivery scheduling

PREFERRED SKILLS
Ability to work independently across multiple stations
Detail-oriented and responsive in fast-paced settings
Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving
