Job Title: Procurement Specialist (Senior Buyer)
Location: Irving, TX | Fully Onsite
Pay Rate: $22-24/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM

Our facilities operate 24/7 across multiple geographic regions. As a result, this position must be available to support regional needs as they arise, even during Corporate Office closures due to inclement weather, public holidays, or weekends.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support our supply chain operations by ensuring an adequate inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies at the best value. This role is responsible for purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies at the lowest cost while ensuring quality and availability.

• Actively research and develop new supplier relationships and identify cost-effective alternatives.

• Maintain and analyze supply-related reports to optimize purchasing decisions.

• Effectively manage expenditures to minimize costs while ensuring material availability.

• Utilize inventory planning and purchasing systems (MMIS) efficiently.

• Process requests accurately and in a timely manner (within 24 hours), ensuring vendor compliance with purchase agreements.

• Monitor and maintain the purchasing system to ensure data integrity and compliance with hospital procedures.

• Update purchasing records daily, including pricing, units of purchase, and vendor order details.

• Assist in reviewing and resolving open orders to meet departmental delivery expectations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work efficiently within purchasing systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
