Job Title: Purchasing Agent
Location: Allen, TX (near US 75 and Bethany Rd.)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, temporary
Providing purchasing support and assisting with buying decisions for medical supply vendors.
assisting purchasing staff
enter MRO purchase orders into system and place orders with suppliers
follow up on past due orders
expedite orders as needed
assist in sourcing items as needed
process and follow up on SSA letters for new parts and parts that have new revisions
handle "in-house" copying duties for IFU's
keep track of stationary supplies and toner cartridges
run and publish weekly inventory report
populate monthly supplier performance report
assist with month end reports
basic experience in materials planning and /or purchasing in a manufacturing environment
basic ability to read blueprints/engineering drawings
detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task
demonstrated ability to work independently
experience with MS windows programs- Word, Excel, Power Point
