**ONSITE Position**

Purchasing/Procurement Administrative Assistant Requirements:

  • **2 years of Purchasing / Procurement experience**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of general office experience.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Word & Excel)

  • Proficiency with PDF software.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Excellent organization skills

Purchasing/Procurement Administrative Assistant Summary:

  • Provide administrative support for the Purchasing and Operations departments.

Purchasing/Procurement Administrative Assistant Pay: $21/hr

Purchasing/Procurement Administrative Assistant Hours:

(Temp to Perm)

  • Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM

  • Flexible for OT as needed including weekends depending on the business needs

Purchasing/Procurement Administrative Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Archive purchasing/operations related quality documentation into Master Control upon receipt.

  • Provide support to customers, vendors, and Arlington campus employees.

  • Provide support for requisitions as assigned for non-project, quality and production departments.

  • Assist with customer/vendor meetings including signing of visitor log, meeting organizer contact, direction to meeting location and distribution of safety glasses, if applicable.

  • Distribute and collect signed Guest Visitation Policy documents prior to on-site meetings.

  • Scan and archive customer documentation submittals and signed visitation policies for future reference.

  • Data entry (e.g. EPA logs, project tracking for procurement and production readiness.)

  • Provide support for ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment items.

  • Monitor and stock coffee and kitchen supplies.

  • Distribute, post and maintain internal flyers for bulletin boards within client buildings.

  • Participate in cross-training of department procedures/processes.

  • Initiate project tracking document at the start of a new project.

  • Collaborate with Quality and Purchasing areas on classification breakout of approved supplier list.

  • Request and collect quality documentation revisions as requested.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
